Tokens are one of the most underrated yet most cost effective ways to increase business. When a customer declines a drink from another
customer. because he/she is leaving... You lost a sale! If you have tokens you can ring up the drink and give a token to the departing customer.
If this customer returns to use the token, you have a repeat customer at no cost. If the customer does not return you have the price of a drink for
the few cents the token cost.
When you have to cut off a customer who has had to much, offering to buy their first drink when they return another day, with
a token, eases the pain and gets you a repeat customer.
Tokens are not limited to drinks. They can be used for deserts, a percent off the
customers next visit, a cash value off the customers next visit.
Tokens can be used for just about any business. Where ever you go, take a few tokens
with you. Any place where the employees have contact with many customers, give them a token with a creative message.
A radiator repair shop may have their name
and phone number on the token and something creative like "The best place in town to take a leak". Our red tokens with bright gold imprint with something like
"A token of my love" in large print and the flower or candy shop's name and phone number in small print will be a reminder long after the flowers and candy is gone.
Just leaving a token is unusual enough that the people receiving them are likely to show them to co-workers and even customers. This gives you a lot
of exposure from just one token.
